Comprehensive Child Development Center


To enhance the developmental level of typically developing children, conduct screening activities, and provide early diagnosis and intervention for developmental disorders with the goal of prevention, timely diagnosis, intervention, improving the developmental level of children at risk or with developmental delays, or preventing a decline in developmental level, rehabilitation, and enhancing adaptive abilities, as well as supporting families of children with developmental disorders in motor, cognitive, communication, behavioral, and social areas, the Comprehensive Child Development Center was inaugurated in February 2016 at the Ziaeian hospital under the supervision of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. 
The center's services extend to clients from birth to 18 years of age and include preventive measures, screening education, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for a target group encompassing all children and adolescents who are typically developing, at risk of developmental delay, or have a developmental delay or disorder. Located on the first floor of Building No. 2 of Ziaeian Hospital in an area of approximately 300 square meters, the center provides full-time and part-time specialized and subspecialized services, including: 
  •   Specialized child development clinic 
  •   Subspecialized child and adolescent psychiatry clinic 
  •   Subspecialized child and adolescent neurology clinic 
  •   Multispecialty clinic 
  •   Administration of screening and developmental tests such as ASQ and Bayley 
  •   Administration of intelligence tests and other psychological assessments 
  •   Rehabilitation services including speech therapy and occupational therapy 
  •   Treatment of learning and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents 
  •   Cognitive-behavioral therapy for behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adolescents 
  •   Behavioral management training for parents 
  •   Cognitive-behavioral therapy for adults in the families of child and adolescent clients
